Some details
This 1895 Brindley & Foster organ has been suffering for many years as a result of damp conditions in the church.
It was decided to bring the organ back into a reliable condition by complete re-leathering of all the pneumatic actions.
The main chests and actions were brought back to our factory where they were give full works treatment, including manufacture
and replacement of the internal, flat steel register springs. Some photographs of these Brindley Chests being
revitalised can be seen on this page.
